By accessing the KanggaXpress application, portal, or related APIs, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not register, log in, or use these services. These terms apply to all visitors, passengers, drivers, and administrators.
2. User Accounts & Verification
To access ride-booking or driver bidding, you must create a verified account using email/password or Google Sign-In:
You represent that all information provided during registration (full name, phone number, vehicle type, license details) is accurate and complete.
Driver Credentials: Driver registration requires a valid driver’s license, vehicle details, plate number, and franchise verification. Admins reserve the right to decline or suspend drivers who submit fake credentials.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Any activity under your authenticated session is your responsibility.
3. Unified Wallet & Fee Structure
KanggaXpress employs a unified wallet credit system for all driver balances and logistics transactions:
Top-Ups: Drivers can top up their wallet using PayMongo checkout sessions (GCash, Maya, credit card, or QRPH). The minimum top-up amount is ₱10. Top-up invoices are valid for a specified timeframe; once completed, balances are updated in the database.
Driver Pickup Fee: When a driver accepts a passenger bid and executes a pickup, a system fee of ₱5.00 is automatically deducted from the driver’s wallet balance.
Cancellation Penalties: Passengers can cancel pending rides without penalty. If a driver cancels an active ride after assignment, a wallet penalty of ₱10.00 will be automatically deducted from the driver’s wallet balance.
Wallet Balances: Driver wallets must maintain a positive balance to receive bids and accept dispatch orders.
4. Ride Bidding & Operations
The KanggaXpress platform connects passengers and drivers through a dynamic bidding system:
Passengers request rides with an initial estimated fare based on system pricing algorithms.
Drivers can place bids with custom prices to execute the requested route.
Passengers have the final authority to select any incoming driver bid. Once a bid is accepted, the ride is locked, and notifications are dispatched.
Drivers must transport passengers safely to their drop-off coordinates. Any offline payments or unrecorded trips are outside our safety guarantees.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree NOT to use the KanggaXpress application or API to:
Harass, threaten, or abuse drivers or passengers.
Provide fraudulent information or spoof GPS location coordinates (e.g., driver location spoofing).
Spam API endpoints or attempt to bypass security policies (like Supabase Row Level Security).
Carry illegal items, contrabands, or dangerous goods using our Courier services.
6. Limitation of Liability
KanggaXpress acts as an intermediary platform connecting passengers, senders, and independent driver/courier partners. We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party driver conduct, traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, or issues with wallet payments through PayMongo.
